Once again Kings Cross in London was host to the vintage Classic Car Boot Sale. And what a weekend it was! Regardless of a freezing cold and drizzly Saturday and a hot and sunny Sunday, there were, as usual plenty of vintage characters in an expanded car boot sale. I hosted a Meetup on each day and I’m glad I could enjoy it on both days.
I already had a Vintage London portfolio, however, I am chuffed to bits to be able to tighten it up with new and better shots, while stripping out the weaker ones from last year. The car boot sale will once again be in Cubitt Square in London’s Kings Cross on the 1st and 2nd of October, and I will be there yet again.
It’s such an awesome spot for street photography, not only because those pre-disposed to dressing up in vintage clothes are more than happy to be photographed – easy for street portraits and candid portraiture. Plus, it is super colourful, although I opted to shoot in black and white; and it’s great for layering composition… all in all – an ace weekend!
